Design & Customisation

Our Character Theme Cakes feature creative designs inspired by the colours, styles, and iconic elements of your favourite characters.  

  • Copyright Note: In view of copyright, please note that we do not manufacture 3D character figure toppers.  
  • Themed Accessories: We can provide the franchised character night light shown in the reference picture for an additional $180.  
  • Personal Touch: Customers are more than welcome to prepare their own character figures to be used as cake toppers for a truly personalised centrepiece.  

The Phoenix Edge: Recipe & Ingredients

Beyond aesthetics, every Phoenix Sweets cake delivers a rich, substantial texture that sets us apart from typical airy sponge cakes. Following our signature "Less Sweet" recipe, we use premium natural ingredients tailored for a sophisticated palate:  

  • Victoria Sponge Base: A traditional, moist, and dense cake that provides a much richer experience than mass-produced alternatives.
  • Premium Ingredients: We use Valrhona chocolate, fair-trade tea leaves, and 100% natural fruit purees with no artificial flavourings.  

Choose from our delectable flavours:

  • Earl Grey: Infused with tea leaves and layered with organic rose water buttercream and rose petals.  
  • Vanilla: A classic favourite with mixed berries buttercream and luscious homemade jam.  
  • Lemon: A zesty delight paired with passion fruit buttercream and tangy lemon curd.
  • Chocolate: A rich, bittersweet chocolate cake with creamy chocolate buttercream.  
  • Rainbow Vanilla: Vibrant colourful layers with passion fruit and lemon curd filling (additional HK$400).  

Size & Portions

We offer two standard sizes for this design:  

  • 6": Approximately 8-12 servings.  
  • 8": Approximately 12-20 servings.  
  • 2 tiers version are also available

Important Logistics

  • Lead Time: Standard celebration cakes require 1-2 weeks for handcrafting.
  • Delivery: We use experienced van drivers to ensure your delicate cake arrives safely. 
  • Cake Care: For the best taste and texture, take the cake out of the fridge 3 hours before serving.

        Please arrange to pick up the sweets at our studio in Lai Chi Kok or Tai Kwun Store in Central.

        Tai Kwun Store in Central:

        • Please note that our Tai Kwun Store in Central has been permanently closed since Nov 2024.

        Please let us know asap if you need any special arrangement.  Please note that we no longer operate the store in PMQ.  

        • We can provide quotation for delivery service according to order content, location and time. The starting service charge is $150. Please note that you will have to pick up at the van.  If you need the driver to park the van and deliver the cake to door, the driver will need to charge $150 extra (hence starts from $300). 
        • The online store will calculate the delivery charge based on your order. You will find the corresponding delivery options with charge when you check out.

        To ensure availability, orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strongly advise placing your order 1-2 weeks in advance.

        You can verify our availability by selecting the items you want and checking the date-picker on the Cart page to see if your preferred date is still open.

        For urgent order (i.e. within 5 days), please contact our store at 3686 0915 during 12nn to 7pm.
